Wing Surfing & Wing Foiling
Wing Surfing or Wing Foiling is a water sport that evolved from kitesurfing, windsurfing and stand-up paddling. In wingsurfing, the surfer, standing on a board, holds an inflatable wing that allows him to exploit the wind. In wingfoiling, the board is equipped with a hydrofoil, which allows the board to rise out of the water.
Wing Surf equipment is simple to put together on the beach. All you need to do is inflate a wing, take a board, and jump into the water. If you utilise a board fitted with a hydrofoil a light wind is sufficient to start sailing and flying on the water.
This water sport is rapidly gaining popularity due to the powerful sense of freedom it provides, as well as the contact with nature, the sea and the waves. Moreover, it can be practised in light winds, making it an alternative to other sailing sports that require stronger winds.
