Nuraghe Losa
The Nuraghe Losa Archaeological Park is an ancient Bronze Age site and is one of the most well-preserved and representative testimonies of the Nuragic civilisation, is immersed in the green countryside of central-western Sardinia, about one and a half hours' drive from Cagliari, Alghero and about two hours' drive from Olbia. The Nuraghe Losa is a nuragic monument from the Middle Bronze Age, one of the largest in Sardinia. Around the Nuraghe there was once a hut village delimited by a mighty wall still visible throughout its perimeter. Visiting Nuraghe Losa you will learn about the prehistoric Nuragic culture, who inhabited Sardinia nearly 4000 years ago.
